Best Places in Dublin to Get Sweets and a Caffeine Fix
"Brother Hubbard is a recent addition to trendy Capel Street and they're setting the bar high. Coffee and tea is sourced from two of the best Dublin suppliers, 3FE and Wall and Keogh and their homemade drinks including orange and lemon barley water and rose, raspberry and apple are refreshing and different. In recent months they have really stepped up their sweet treat offerings and there are now a range of baked goods from scones to friandes as well more dessert-style items."

Dublin Food Guide
"This Beans and Pulled Pork Special at Brother Hubbard featured cannellini beans in a rich and lightly spiced tomato sauce, overnight roasted pulled pork, a soft fried egg and toast. We loved Brother Hubbard during our first visit to Dublin in 2013. At the time, the new-ish restaurant stood out as a shining light in the Dublin culinary scene by serving modern comfort food and quality coffee in a trendy yet chill setting."

25 delightful Dublin restaurants
"Justly famed, Chapter One has been serving up contemporary Irish cuisine-with-a-French-twist for over 20 years. The dining room is comfortable and elegant, with all those starched white tablecloths nicely offset by warm lighting and exposed brick walls. Ross Lewis's food is serious and not cheap: the à la carte prices reflect its Michelin-starred rating – but there are excellent set-price lunch and pre-theatre options too."

The Most Romantic Restaurants in Dublin
"Michelin star awarded since 2007, Chapter One is one of the finest restaurants in the city and an ideal place to celebrate a special occasion. The food is insanely good – so much so that Chef Ross Lewis was invited to oversee the banquet held in Queen Elizabeth II’s honour during her 2011 state visit. Housed in the basement of the Dublin Writers Museum, the room is minimal but elegant."

"Notoriously hard to get a booking, Bastible is a contemporary bistro that’s reinventing what exactly a ‘bistro’ should be. Gráinne O' Keefe's third and final spot on this list has made it to the top three. Their food is based on the seasons around them, sourced from dedicated artisan producers, and inspired by the creativity of their small team."

Where To Find The Best Croissant In Dublin
"Price: €2.50Look: 4/5Texture: 3.5/5Taste: 5/5Value: 3.5/5Total: 16/20. Verdict: This French franchise sells what looks like a high-end croissant, almost too perfect and regular. The crust is extremely flaky and crispy, so much so that it makes it slightly tough to break down, but the flavours are fantastic - it’s a real moreish number."

Some Of The Best Restaurants In The Heart Of Dublin City
"The ethos of Bite caf is that of 'Uptown Food, Downtown Vibe' and it's basically recreating your average fish and chip shop into a more upmarket fish experience with some interesting reinventions along the way. Gone is the greasy batter in a brown bag, replaced with hake in a vodka and beer batter accompanied with mushy peas and pancetta fries. The usual pre-theatre menu has been replaced with a 'Pre-Gig Menu', seeking to resonate with the modern diner."

Ideal for those history heads amongst your family or friend group, the museum delves into Ireland’s social, military, political and economic progress throughout the years.
