"Like the idea of waterside drinking and dining as the temperatures rise?. Angelina's have pretty outdoor space facing the canal, so you can kick back with a couple of glasses and a plate of freshly made pasta while topping up your tan."
"Savoring the last day of the Bank Holiday with a lazy brunch or relaxing dinner?. Sink into one of our cosy booths and enjoy!. #AngelinasDublin #Angelinas"
"I am a big fan of seafood pasta and Rosa Madre in Dublin is always there to take care of my craving for this exceptional dish. They also specialise in fresh fish with options like gamberi in spicy spinach, calamari, and the mighty lobster tonnarelli. Back in 2018, Rosa Madre won an award for the ‘Best Authentic Italian Restaurant in Dublin’."
"Some of the tastiest seafood pasta can be found in Rosa Madre. As soon as you step in the door you're met by a huge cabinet which is iced and packed full of fish and shellfish. It's a stunning venue, tucked away down the cobblestone streets of Temple Bar but inside it's got a lot of character."
"Da Mimmo is not exactly a tourist spot, and is considered by many to be one of Dublin’s best-kept secrets due to its familiar and cosy atmosphere. They serve large portions at affordable prices and both the pizzas and the pasta taste just like they would in Italy. Try the penne alla Norma with grated salted ricotta cheese and the pizza bianca with mozzarella cheese, Italian sausage, mushrooms, gorgonzola cheese and Parmesan."
"The Penne Da Mimmo provides a great taste of Italy on a plate with its fresh Italian sausage and creamy red bell pepper sauce served over al dente pasta. Da Mimmo was our personal savior during our second trip to Dublin. Located less than a block from our less-than-fabulous apartment in a previously sketchy area of Dublin, this restaurant became our go-to for pasta, calzones and pizza."
"Da Mimmo was opened in 2010 by Tino Fuscardi with their dishes being developed over past generations as it is a family run Italian restaurant located in Dublin 3. They are well known in Dublin for their homemade wood fired Pizzas, Pasta & AntiPasto; delicious desserts and a wide range of best Italian Wines."
"San Lorenzos is a modern Italian inspired restaurant in the city centre, famous for its fantastic brunch menu. It’s a fast-paced restaurant so not exactly the place to go for a quiet brunch to read the newspaper but if you want a fun atmosphere, great music and fantastic food, it’s the place to be. Their brunch tacos are an unusual but delicious addition to the already alternative menu and there is something to suit every taste."
"The mighty San Lorenzo’s is another restaurant that’s said to dish out some of the best brunch Dublin has to offer (it’s also one of our favourite Italian restaurants in Dublin). This is, unsurprisingly enough, an Italian restaurant that cooks with a New York flair. Booking here is an absolute must!"
"Among the most popular places in Dublin, San Lorenzo’s offers Italian cuisine with some pleasant American contaminations in a relaxed and informal atmosphere in the city center. Reservations required every day of the week."
"Il Vicoletto is a cosy little Italian restaurant nestled away in Crow Street – a cobblestone lane-way just off of the main strip. Step inside and you will immediately be spirited away to an authentic Italian trattoria. Its kitchen is famous for its homemade bread and pastas, authentic Ragu served with Pappardelle in Chianti Classico recipe, and an impressive Italian wine list sure to bolster a sense of celebration."
"Nestled down a side street in the heart of Dublin city you will find this gem. IL Vicoletto is a typical Italian trattoria with a warm and infectious atmosphere, exceptional service, an extensive wine list, and authentic Italian food offering. Il Vicoletto does an excellent job in sourcing the best of Irish produce and pairing with carefully selected cheeses and oils from Italy."
"This long standing restaurant in the heart of Temple Bar is famed for putting together some of the best Italian food and wine in the city. Get a real sense of amore by chomping on stuffed pasta and spaghetti, veal escalope and lemon chicken with plenty of handpicked bottles to pair."
"Uno Pizza is still available for delivery and click & collect from Rathmines. Uno also do at-home pizza kits, which can be found on their website."
"Chapel Royale, the castle’s chapel, was beautiful and full of tales of its own. If you find yourself hungry or thirsty, there is a lovely eatery at the back of the castle with outdoor seating. The tour lasts one hour."
"Named after the river that bisects the park, Tolka Valley Park is a northside oasis complete with walking trails, a playground and a lake frequented by swans, kingfishers, herons and ducks. There’s one bridge over the river, and that’s the best spot to catch your breath (and take in the views of the river on either side). Tolka Valley Park’s 346 acres begin in Blanchardstown and extend northwards into wilder meadows, wetlands and woodland."
"Overlooking the villages of Dalkey and Killiney is a small public park, the Killiney Hill Park. Visitors can enjoy a variety of teas from their famous tea rooms, playgrounds for children and adult alike, and long green walking paths and woodland trails. Families and friends can enjoy their picnics here in the park as they enjoy the view of Dublin Bay and the Wicklow Mountain."
"Ok, but this one’s pretty cool and it’s perched on top of a hill!. It also used to have a railway station (albeit one that closed over 150 years ago, but still). Located along the southern boundary of Dublin Bay, the main reason you’d head to Killiney Hill Park is for the gorgeous sweeping views from the viewpoint just south of the obelisk."
"A little park with a wonderful view of Dalkey and Killiney villages. It’s a steep walk up the hill, but it’s well worth it. Once you’re up, it’s one of Dublin’s most tranquil spots to relax in."
"This Arts Centre in Dundrum has a range of events and programmes, but in particular they have a great programme for children. In July they also run performance summer camps."
"Designed by Studio Libeskind in 2010, the Grand Canal Square formed an important milestone for the redevelopment of the Dublin Docklands area. The 2000-seat theater is based on the concept of stages: the stage of the theater, the stage of the piazza, the stage of the multiple lever lobby above the piazza."

It is the city’s biggest fixed-seat theater and was designed by Polish-American architect Daniel Libeskind for the Dublin Docklands Development Authority."
"One of my all time favourite memories as a child was visiting the Gaiety Theatre with my grandmother. She use to take us once a year and I absolutely loved it. Things haven’t changed too much at The Gaiety but it remains a prominent influence on Irish arts and theatre."
