"A relatively new addition to Galway's pizza scene, Pizza Amore is the sister restaurant to Pizza Napoli. Honestly, I would make it a double whammy and hit up both, one after the other."
"Bringing a real authentic taste of Italy to Galway City, this spot is perfect for a top-class pizza evening. Address: 4 Cross Street Upper, Galway, H91 C6X2"

"I've been eating here for at least 18 years and the food is just as good today as it was then. They pride themselves on serving healthy, authentic Chinese cuisine. I would gladly eat only their fresh homemade noodles and dumplings for the rest of my life – so honestly, I can't stress enough: if you're in Galway don't leave without trying them."
"Okay, so, you might think this does not actually count, as KFC has always offered take-away and is a fast-food restaurant but my God they do the best fried chicken on the planet. I ordered a gluttonous amount of food from their Briarhill location recently and it was incredibly tasty and piping hot when I got it. If I am in the mood for something that is a little on the unhealthy side, but don’t feel like going the traditional route of Supermacs or McDonalds, KFC is always a fantastic option."
"Now open in the heart of Galway's Latin Quarter, the new seafood restaurant - The Galway Oyster House is supporting local fishermen by serving up their sustainable, fresh farmed fish and Dooncastle Oysters. Delivered fresh each morning, each visit offers a new range of dishes to enjoy. If you're passing by Quay St. be sure to drop in to say hello and try some of their exquisite seafoods."
"This quaint, inviting restaurant is perfect for a night of wine, music and conversation over some seriously delicious French food. Swing jazz, classical guitar and piano can heard of a night throughout the week which just adds to the warm, buzzing atmosphere. The small menu means everything on it is cooked to perfection, from the striploin steak with blue cheese sauce (highly recommended) to the half-lobster, cooked fresh with garlic butter."
"Dominick Street has become quite the foodie spot in Galway, and it’s no wonder when you have such great choices, with French restaurant Rouge among its line up. Diners can enjoy fine cuisine that tastes great, is full of character, and bursting with beaucoup de bon vin."
"In central Galway, the Park House Hotel blends the warmth and personality of a boutique hotel with 4-star luxury. It offers an award-winning restaurant and air-conditioned rooms with free Wi-Fi. Rooms are decorated in warm colours, natural wood furnishings and luxurious fabrics."
"This traditional hotel located in the heart of the city centre is a great place to use as your base when staying in Galway City as it’s only minutes from the train station, a proper Irish bar, and has luxurious rooms. Prices: Average €150 per night. CHECK AVAILABILITY NOW"
"Elegant, stylish and refined, Hyde is known to many as an extremely classy destination for top-notch drinks but their brunch offerings are the height of sophistications. With light bites and sweet offerings, salads and mains making up the menu, you’re sure to find something that will tingle your taste buds. Served until 5pm Friday, Saturday and Sunday, a fine selection featuring the likes of brioche French toast, wild mushroom bruschetta and super salads await you."
"If gin is your drink of choice, you will have to visit Ireland’s largest gin bar to sample some of the 500 different gins they have on offer. Located in the city centre, this is the perfect place to kick off an evening in style."
"Updated in 2019, Millenium Children’s Park is a must if you are in Galway City with kids. The colourful playground has plenty of things to keep the kids occupied and the nearby skatepark is one of the best things to do in Galway with teenagers. Just remember their skateboards!"
