"Whatever you think of the exterior of this slightly clunky-looking hotel overlooking the River Shannon, it’s beautiful inside, and you won’t be looking at its stark outline while you’re chowing down. In a scene that’s oddly competitive (the Irish do love a good hotel breakfast), the Absolute has a spectacular array of breakfast options, taking in the Full Irish, fruit, cereal, porridge, pastries and (pride of place) a clever pancake machine. There’s a nice atmosphere, and no chance you’ll leave the buffet hungry."

Rated as the number 1 hotel on TripAdvisor in Limerick and voted as one of the top 15 hotels in Ireland by TripAdvisor’s Travellers’ Choice Awards 2019. Stylish, comfortable and modern, this city centre hotel is nestled in the Medieval quarter of Limerick, only minutes' walk away from classic landmarks such as King John's Castle, the Hunt Museum, Thomond Park and many other Limerick attractions."

"You’ve experienced Italian cuisine before, now experience Da Vincenzo’s Food & Wine Hall at The George Limerick. Ciao, my name is Vincenzo, welcome to my restaurant. I was brought up in Italy in the tiny streets of Naples where I learned to perfect the art of great pizza & pasta at my grandmother’s knee."
"If you’re driving then a place I would recommend going to near Limerick is Bunratty Village and Bunratty Castle & Folk Park. I actually visited here on a family holiday when I was about 11 and loved it!. I drove through the village on my way from Shannon to Limerick this time and it brought back so many memories. The buildings in the village are very typical Irish stone built buildings and many of them are home to B&B’s now if you need somewhere to stay nearby."
"Step back to medieval and Victorian times with a full-day admission ticket to Bunratty Castle and Folk Park near Shannon Town. Explore the 15th-century castle to see its rich furnishings, chambers and artworks, and wander through the folk park, a recreation of a 19th-century Irish village brought to life with costumed animators. See the replica cottages, shops, farmhouses, and Bunratty Walled Garden, and learn about traditional village life over a century ago."
"Just 15 Minutes from Hotel Bunratty Castle & Folk Park is a must on your itinerary. This is your chance to experience a window on Ireland’s past explore the 15th century Castle & Folk Park"
"A walk through history, the Cathedral is located in the quieter part of the city. As of present, the church has the tallest spiral in the whole of Ireland."
"Situated just outside Limerick city, Russells Select Bar is a family-run business that is a much-loved part of the community. Visitors to the bar will be greeted by warm hospitality and a welcoming atmosphere. Russell’s Select Bar is also famed for its attention to detail – evident in their dishes."
"Lunch is served Monday to Friday, with a late bar 5 nights a week. Musical offerings includes traditional Irish music on Sunday, and enjoy live music on Wednesday and Thursday at "The Outback", a beer garden surrounded by a canopy."
